As an influential association in Asia Pacific region, Asian Association of Business Incubation (AABI) is dedicated to promoting regional innovative development. Each year AABI members will gather at the General Assembly to discuss and exchange views on future development of AABI, further promotion of regional innovation resources sharing so as to lay solid foundation for building the regional co-incubation network. The 22nd AABI General Assembly was successfully held in Shanghai from Sept.22nd to Sept. 26th together with the PuJiang Sub Forum-2016 InnoFuture. Through a series of activities like themed forums, workshops, field trips, and B2B meetings, the overseas participants exchanged the innovation experience and established initial contact with local counterparts to seek for cooperation in innovation and business fields.
The 22nd AABI GA was supported by the Torch High Technology Industry Development Center and hosted by the Ministry of Science and Technology of the People’s Republic of China and Shanghai Technology Innovation Center, as the co-organizer and AABI Secretariat, Shanghai Co-Way was fully responsible for the GA’s planning and preparation. This year more than 60 incubator managers and entrepreneurs from Australia, Korea, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand , Chinese Taipei, Hong Kong China and over 300 local representatives from enterprises, business incubators joined the General Assembly.
Grand Opening of Co-Way Space
The Co-Way Space will focus on innovative projects and startups in the fields of TMT, New Material and Medical Devices. It is a co-working space open for both domestic and overseas entreprenuers to set up their businesses and exchange views with counterparts from different places of the world.
